 Policies of Campus Infrastructure Maintenance

                    The institution has made necessary arrangements for the maintenance and upkeep of the college infrastructure. The management provides necessary funds to be utilized for maintenance.

     The college management undertakes the task of maintenance and improvement of infrastructure on the campus. As per the need of the institution with regard to infrastructure, the IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Committee) prepares perspective Development Plan every year. The plan is placed in the meeting of College Development Committee for its final approval and accordingly it is implemented. The College Development Fund is utilized for maintenance and minor repairs of building, furniture and equipment's. The College Development Committee of the college lists the activities on priority basis, gives cost estimation and submits the proposal to the management of the institution. The Management gives permission to utilize the college development fund for this purpose. The management also ensures the optimal utilization of budget allocated. The major maintenance and repairs are outsourced through external agencies through AMCs (Annual Maintenance Charge).

     The college systematically undertakes annual maintenance and repair of infrastructure. The laboratory equipment's and instruments are maintained by using funds from College Development Fund. Computers and Electronic devices are maintained and repaired through the funds made available from the College Development Fund. For major problems, the external services are sought on the contract or need basis for which special provisions are made in the annual budget.

     The college has installed sensitive equipment's like UPS Inverter Batteries, Air Conditioners, water purifiers and scientific instruments in specified places in the college. The laboratory staff keep track regarding maintenance and upkeep of scientific instruments and chemicals. Repair, replacement, regular servicing of the instruments / equipment's are done under the supervision of faculty members of concerned department. Similarly the college utilizes the service of a qualified electrician for repair, service and maintenance of electrical equipment's. The college has an AMC with companies and firms who have supplied RO water purifiers, computers, UPS inverter batteries, Air Conditioners for the regular check-up and maintenance of the equipment's.
